AquaSoft Performance Manager

The AquaSoft Performance Manager is an excellent database program, designed in simple modular form for recording the performance and progress of swimmers. It has the advantage of being simple to manage and operate and it recalls past events, results and standards effortlessly.

Not only does it produce concise reports, and comparison with past efforts on the meet results reports, it is able to compare those results with time standards such as National Qualifying Times or AA time sets and show automatically how close swimmers are to those standards.

Its greatest advantage is that it can measure the performance improvement of each swimmer on an annual, half yearly or quarterly basis which can be automatically reproduced in graphical form or numeric form in reports.

A superb tool is one with the very simple ability to choose the best relay team at all ages and for mixed age groups, whilst a recent update is the added module for converting best times.

Its ability to convert reports to a Word document gives it flexibility for presentation. Snapshots of the graphic features are also very useful for passing on to members of the squad for information.

In addition there are the usual, PB time reports, rankings and club records. It also has the ability to be coupled to other AquaSoft programs using the simple export/import facility.

I have been using AquaSoft Performance Manager for nearly two years now. It replaced a simple Access based database. It is still evolving as further requirements are identified by users. It is indispensable to me in my job of maintaining and reproducing the DARTES athletic performances and records.

We purchased the AquaSoft Performance Manager to enable us to maintain our swimmers PB’s in an easy to read format that could be passed on but since using the software it has been a real boon to the Club and the best piece of equipment we have purchased.

Not only does it allow us to view their performance it enables us to pass this information down to our swimmers and parents so that they can see how they have improved. Of great value are the relay team selection and rankings elements which make the team selection process so much simpler and transparent to all.

However of greater importance is the support provided by AquaSoft, readily available from designers who know about swimming and how club’s operate which combined with regular upgrades is second to none!

We have come to view the Performance Manager as an indispensable tool and would recommend this to any Club
